of Abdul Latif Jameel (ALJ) Group – one of the largest 
business houses in Saudi Arabia
As per standards, suitable candidates are required to 
fill the following positions
AREA PROJECT MANAGER
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in 
Architecture or Civil Engineering with 20 years of 
Project Management experience. Key responsibilities 
include managing the project construction, renovation 
and expansion in the region. Additional 
responsibilities include monitoring and controlling 
the activities of the Project Engineers and external 
contractors by reviewing the progress of each project
PROJECT MANAGER
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / 
Architectural Engineering with 15 years of working 
experience. The position will be directly reporting to 
Area Project Manager and/or Head of Projects. Key 
responsibility includes preparation of project 
execution plan from conceptual design phase until 
handover. This includes prepare projects specs, 
material selections, project cost estimate, 
construction/tender docs, day to day management of 
construction/renovations. Aside from being able to 
communicate effectively in oral and in writing, the 
applicant should be knowledgeable with Architectural / 
Civil Design and planning principles, operations
PLANNING / SCHEDULING MANAGER
This position reports directly to the Head of 
Projects. The applicants will be working along with a 
Project Manager in estimating cash flow for renovation 
/ construction project in measuring consultant’s 
performance. Key responsibilities includes approving 
the construction and design schedules submitted by 
contractors/consultants, prepare monthly project 
progress reports, review delay recovery look ahead 
schedules and visit projects sites on a regular basis. 
This position ensures that progress work on site is in 
compliance with approved schedules, major milestones 
are met and deficiencies are reported in order to 
correct or recommended actions to be taken
SENIOR ARCHITECT
This position reports to the Head of Projects. 
Applicants to this position should be able to prepare 
concept design for renovation / construction project 
as per end-user requirements. Key responsibilities 
include review architectural drawings, materials 
proposed, changes request/variations submitted by 
Design Consultants to improve the quality, future 
maintenance safety and cost effectiveness
SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Applicants should be responsible for designing and 
reviewing electrical system and establish the items in 
B.O.Q. for projects. Other responsibilities includes 
preparing reports with recommendations to improve the 
quality, future maintenance, safety and cost 
effectiveness of the materials proposed by the Design 
Consultants. He should be able to review tender 
documents, bidder’s clarification, prepare minutes of 
meetings during tender stage and participate in 
pre-qualification of the constructions contractor 
design consultants
SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Key responsibility of the position in designing the 
mechanical systems and establishes the items for 
projects. Review, suggest and approve the Mechanical 
Designs and items submitted by contractors/design 
consultants and prepare recommendations highlight the 
advantages and disadvantages of each alternative. 
Aside from participating on pre-qualification of 
construction contractors, the Senior Mechanical 
Engineer is also responsible in reviewing and 
replaying with bidder’s clarifications, participates 
in issuing bulletin and technical meetings during the 
tender stage
SENIOR COST ESTIMATOR / QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Applicants should excel in cost estimation of 
Renovation / Construction Projects based on the 
approved concept drawings and site visit. He should 
likewise be effective in providing alternative 
solutions for optimum project budget and end-user 
requirements. Applicants should be familiar with 
variation analysis and estimates, cost analysis of 
delays and alternative means and methods as required
DOCUMENT CONTROL SPECIALIST
Applicants should have at least 4 years of experience 
in Documents Control or Project Administration in a 
Real Estate, Development, Construction or Contracting 
Company and should be familiar with Primavera Contract 
Management (formerly expedition), Prolog, Timberline 
or equivalent. Key responsibilities include 
maintaining and organizing detailed project records, 
administration and control of documents. Aside from 
being on excellent in written and oral technical 
English communication skills, he should likewise have 
advanced knowledge of MS Office
